| Attribute | Description |
|---|---|
email-template | Required. MP Communication ID of the verification email (it must contain MP's verification link). |
user-email-template | Confirmation email sent to the guest after they finish. |
church-email-template | Notification email sent to your staff contact. |
collect-address | true asks for a household address. |
milestone-id, milestone-program-id | Milestone (and the program it's credited to) assigned to new guests. |
return-url | Page the verification link opens. Defaults to the page the widget is on, and must be on your site. |
The stock attribute names (verificationemailtemplateid, usernotificationemailtemplateid, churchnotificationemailtemplateid, collectaddress, milestonetoassignid, milestoneprogramid, returnurl) also work.
How it works
- The guest enters their name and email. If Ministry Platform already knows them, they're asked to sign in instead.
- Ministry Platform emails a verification link.
- The link opens this page again with the visit form: campus, when they're coming, their phone, an optional address, an optional spouse, and any children. Children's age/grade groups are suggested by birth date, and are only asked for when your campus has groups set up.
People who are already signed in see a short welcome-back message instead of the form.
Requirements
- Ministry Platform configured in Dashboard -> Settings
- Add allowed origins in Dashboard -> Widgets -> Allowed origins
