Firesky ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our services.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide when signing up, configuring your church, or contacting us:

• Account data: Email address, name, and church affiliation
• Church data: Church name, address, service times, contact information, and configuration (e.g., allowed embed domains)
• CHMS credentials: When you connect a church management system (e.g., Planning Center, Ministry Platform), we store encrypted credentials to fetch data for widgets and tools
• Support and inquiries: Messages you send via our contact form or support tickets
• Usage data: We use cookies and similar technologies for session management. We may collect analytics (e.g., page views, referrers) to improve our services

How we use your information

We use your information to:

• Provide and operate our services (widgets, tools, dashboard)
• Authenticate you and manage your account
• Fetch and display data from connected CHMS systems on your behalf
• Communicate with you (account updates, support, product news)
• Improve our services and fix issues
• Ensure security and prevent abuse

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Data security

We take security seriously:

• Encryption: CHMS credentials (API keys, OAuth secrets) are encrypted at rest before storage. All traffic uses HTTPS
• Access control: Data is accessible only to authorized users. Widget requests are validated by origin—we only return data when the request comes from a domain you've approved
• Infrastructure: We use Supabase and Vercel, which provide encryption at rest and in transit

Data retention and deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Churches can permanently delete all church data at any time from Dashboard → Settings → Delete all church data. When you request deletion, we delete everything: church profile, CHMS credentials, allowed origins, tool purchases, invites, and support tickets. This cannot be undone. Team members are unlinked but keep their Firesky account. You may also request deletion by contacting us.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information. Contact us to exercise these rights.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post changes on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.
